A little of this, a little of that
Hormones suck!!! I can't take birth control pills because they make me crazy. Not that I would need to for birth control, don't have to worry about that one anymore. :) But, at least prior to kids it eased the bleeding and hormonal fluctuations every month. Since having kids the pill just doesn't agree with me. I am having major ups and downs every month, anyone else have this problem? For example, I know I ovulated within the last couple of days. Now there has been a big drop in my hormones, I can feel it. I get all anxious, no appetite, feel sick, etc. And I just know around the corner will be the irritability- yuck! I try to eat a good diet and exercise on a regular basis which "they" say is supposed to help alleviate PMS symptoms, but I don't seem to get any relief. Anyone have any other suggestions or tips?
I can't believe how nice the weather has been lately. It's been so nice not having to bundle the kids up. I wish winter would just stay this way; jeans and a sweater or sweatshirt. I'm dreading having to add another half an hour to my time of trying to get out of the house because of all the bundling.
Julie asked how I like working at T*arget and I have to say that I really enjoy it. I worked there for about 9 months before I had gotten pregnant with Ian. At first I had felt a little guilty doing it because I felt as though I was wasting my degree. But, it didn't take that long for those feelings to disappear. It is just so nice to get out of the house three nights a week. I usually work two nights during the week and then one weekend day. I get to get out of the house and be around other adults and make some of my own "funny" money. There are quite a few teenagers working there which can sometimes make me feel a little old. But, the T*arget where I work has quite a few other women who are in the same boat as I am, so I have also made some good friends. :) And of course as I keep saying a big bonus is all the walking around I do there when I work. I know it's not a lot, but since I started I have already lost 3 pounds - yeah!
Ian now has three teeth, his beautiful gummy smile is being filled with teeth! He is rounding to 11 months, just becoming a toddler way to fast. :( He is such a happy little baby. Although, right now my good little sleeper isn't being so good about going down for naps and bedtime. Once I can get him down he sleeps good, but getting him down is quite an ordeal lately. As I said with the other two boys, this to shall pass.
I am so happy to say that Aidan has made it through two colds and fevers and hasn't had problems with his Asthma. I'm very thankful that the plan the allergist put him on is working so far. I hope we continue to have this great success. I think when his nose starts running I'm not biting my nails off with worry. He is enjoys preschool so much, I wish he was able to go every day. I am trying to pick a date to have a playdate for him with these cute little twin boys in his class. He will just be so thrilled that he gets to have his very own playdate.
Ethan is doing outstanding in school. He got his first report card, very bittersweet for me. And, I had his first teacher conference. He is doing very good in school, got all good reports. He is even a little ahead of the curve when it comes to writing. I have to give that credit to the preschool. I think them opening their program to everyday for the 4-5 year olds made a huge difference. JMO. Now he is working on reading. :) He seems to be picking it up very quickly. He's such a smarter, like his daddy. He makes me so proud! :)
I have a big pile of stuff that I have GOT to get listed on Ebay TODAY! I have been procrastinating on everything lately. I get my butt in gear, so I suppose this wonderful, boring post should come to an end. Have a good one. :)
